WHERe WORDS DON'T MATTER....
Hiralal, the gardener in a public park, an ardent lover of flowers..
Believed-
The Earth smiled in flowers;
He protected the flowerbeds as
A strict disciplinarian father
Cares for his children.
He considered flower plucking an offence, as brutal as-
Assaulting the modesty of a maiden.
He had placards with signals and signs,
All over the garden for uneducated and wise,
Strictly prohibiting plucking flowers, with warnings of punishment and fine.
One quiet summer afternoon when he was home for lunch,
His only child, a thirteen year old girl, sat guarding the vast flowerbeds for him
Post lunch he came back to find her gone missing.
Next morning her torn, tortured naked body was found..
Amidst the dense flowerbeds
Covered with smashed flowers and shattered petals.
Days passed- Hiralal did not react
His barren eyes looked like the parched neglected flower beds.
And One fine day-
The morning visitors in the park observed,
All placards with signs,signals,rules,regulations
Smashed and thrown in the park garbage pail.
'Allow Silence to communicate, where words fail. '
一位 真挚的花卉爱者;
午饭以后 他才发觉女儿的失踪;
